What is a Grief Café?
Volunteers from All Saints Church have set up a Grief Café to offer to people a place to meet and connect with others who have had similar experiences to their own. It is a safe place to speak openly about our experiences, or simply just meet up for a coffee or a cup of tea.
Anyone who has experienced the loss of someone close to them, no matter how long ago, is welcome to the Grief Café. It is free to attend and you are welcome to drop in at any time during the afternoon. The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal, just like a real café, with hot drinks and refreshments.

All Saints Clifton

Welcome to our friendly Parish church at  All Saints' Clifton. We are a joint benefice with the Parish of All Saints Church Southill since 1994 and St Mary's Church  Haynes, since 1st September 2021. The three parishes are in the Shefford and Ampthill Deanery under the Patronage of the Bishop of St Albans,  our worship stands in the broadest tradition of the Anglican Church.

All Saints is within a warm and welcoming village. We support one another and share a team of ministry leaders: Readers, Lay Leaders of Worship and a Rector.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Clifton is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St. Albans's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO officer for the Benefice Jane on 01462 814610 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Diocesan safeguarding officer Jeremy Hirst 01727 818107 [email protected] if you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
