Father God,

We lift up everyone who has worries about their financial situation at this time, whether due to Covid-19 or not. Please inspire them with ideas about where to find help, if they need it.

Please give wisdom to those offering assistance as the policies and procedures are constantly changing at the moment for those using the benefits system, employers and people who are owed money. Also, please help the advisors with the technology as they give their advice remotely rather than face to face and help advice centres to re-open as soon as they can do so safely for both their clients and staff.

We ask that you will call new people to be part of the advice sector including the Bishop's Stortford Money Advice Service and Citizens Advice Bureau. Many more advisors will be needed to help people deal with the damage that Covid-19 will do to their finances. We pray that creditors will deal fairly and sympathetically with people who owe them money.

We pray that your light will shine in the darkness for all those with financial problems and worries and that you will give them the peace that passes all understanding as they face and deal with their situations.
