Holy Trinity Bishop's Stortford

Welcome to Holy Trinity!

We are an inclusive church (see inclusive-church.org) and welcome everyone. A small church with a big heart, we love God and all God's people. Our worship is relaxed in style but whole-heartedly committed to God.

It's always a joy to welcome our congregation, including new members and visitors, into the church building for our worship. However, should you prefer, you can join our services on Facebook by going to https://facebook.com/HolyTrinityBishopsStortford/live.

'I'm new to Holy Trinity, what should I expect?':   Our friendly congregation are always looking out for new faces so you can expect to be welcomed warmly when you enter through our doors. Our main services on Sunday and Wednesday (10am) are a Eucharist (Holy Communion) using the Common Worship liturgy. On Sundays, we have a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs in our service. Twice a month, we serve drinks and biscuits after the service for a time of fellowship together. On Wednesdays the service is quieter without music and is more reflective.  As a parish, we are paper-free so you don't need to worry about service books, hymn books, or losing your place, everything you need will appear on our screen! We worship unpretentiously, and don't stand on ceremony, what matters most is that we carry God's love in our hearts as we offer our praise. So why not relax, come along and give us a try?

The parish of Bishops Stortford: Holy Trinity is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
