Thank you to all the talented artists who displayed their artwork at the Art Show held at St Mary the Virgin over the weekend of 31st May-1st June 2025. We had over 500 people visiting and this event raised approximately £2500 the proceeds are going to St Mary the Virgin church.
A huge thank you to everyone's support and donations for our Plant Sale on Saturday 3rd May outside St Peter's. This event raised £757. The money raised will go towards the running costs of all three of our churches, St Mary's Aspenden, St Peter's Buntingford and St Mary the Virgin Westmill.
Over the coming year St Peter’s will be having work done to address areas of long-term damp to the Entrance Hall, Toilet, Benefice Office, and Church internal walls. This will see some major restoration to both the interior and exterior of the church and will be the biggest projects undertaken by St Peter’s in more than 40 years.St Peter’s will be re-decorated as part of the works and will provide a clean and bright environment for all, its ministry, mission and for other events and activities.During this period, the church will be closed for worship and other services and events. Sunday morning worship will move to Edwinstree Middle School, at the same time of 11am.Download the pack to read about this exciting project and how you can give your support.
