Getting to know The Gospels will look at the four books that sit at the heart of the New Testament. Over the four sessions, we will dive into three main areas:
• The Authorship: We’ll explore who Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John actually were. Were they eyewitnesses, historians, or something else?• The Content: We’ll map out what is in the pages - from the famous parables and miracles to the more challenging teachings. It’s a great way to get a "bird’s-eye view" of the narrative flow.
• The Message: Most importantly, we’ll discuss what these accounts tell us about Jesus. By looking at his life, death, and resurrection through four different lenses, we get a much richer picture of his character and his relevance to our lives today.
