This week (Thursday) marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
As part of the day's commemoration church bells are going to be rung in cathedrals
and churches across the country at 6.30pm as a reminder of what happened 80 years
ago to the day and to the hour.

The bells at St Johns will ring out at 6.30pm as part of the nationwide peal.
During the course of the day, pupils from Knightsfield, Harwood Hill, St John's, Monks Walk
and Homerswood schools will ring the bells for a short time each hour during the middle of the day.
We look forward to welcoming pupils and teachers to mark this important historical milestone.

Our audio service for this week looks at the conversion of St Paul the Apostle (pictured).
It is led by Fr Rob Marshall and the talk and prayers are offered by Dr John Stuart.
Margaret Washington reads the Psalm and Heather Yuill the latest resurrection of Jesus account.
The hymns are Ye Choirs of New Jerusalem, Amazing Grace, Through all the changing scenes of life and Jesus Christ is Risen Today.
