We are aware that a section of the churchyard boundary wall has recently collapsed. Please avoid the taped-off area and make sure children don’t cross the area. The wall has collapsed close to graves and we are sorry that this will mean that the graves cannot be accessed until the wall has been repaired. Please bear with us as we consult our neighbours, our insurers and professionals to agree how to get the wall repaired and to prevent any further damage.Progress reports will be published on this website, but feel free to use our "Get in touch" page.
We are pleased to announce that The Reverend Tim Hall, having worked for Through Faith Missions, has been appointed as Priest in Charge, (House for Duty), of the Benefices of High Cross and Thundridge, held in Plurality.This is subject to the completion of the usual legal formalities after which further information will be announced.Meanwhile please remember him and his wife in your prayers at this time.
At the end of 2022, we said farewell to our vicar, Revd Amanda Duncan and wished her well for her retirement.The PCC is working with the Archdeacon and Rural Dean to discern the steps towards a new priest being appointed. In the meantime, we will be glad to welcome all those from the deanery who come to help out. Ministry with our sister church in Thundridge will continue.
