Our Benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Great Amwell with St Margarets and Stanstead Abbotts PCCs are committed to creating a safer, caring environment, listening to and taking seriously all disclosures of abuse. We pledge to support Victims and Survivors regardless of when or where the abuse occurred, following the House of Bishops guidance to ensure safety and pastoral care. Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
