Music in the Parish
Music is at the heart of worship and community life in the parish. Our dedicated choir rehearses on Friday evenings and leads the singing at our Sunday Sung Eucharist, as well as at occasional Sung Evensong services. Whether soaring hymns or reflective anthems, their voices enrich our liturgy and lift our spirits.
We are blessed with a magnificent organ, and warmly encourage organists experienced or aspiring, to get in touch if they’d like to play. Music-making here is a shared joy, and we welcome new voices and talents.
All Saints also hosts a wide variety of concerts throughout the year, welcoming performers and audiences from across the community and beyond. From classical recitals to festive celebrations, our church is a cherished venue for musical expression.

The All Saints Bells
A Living Tradition of Sound and Service
The peal of bells from All Saints Church has echoed across Wyke Regis for centuries, marking moments of joy, sorrow, worship, and community life. From their blessing in 1455 by Bishop Beauchamp to their recasting into a full ring of eight in 1891, the bells have witnessed the unfolding story of our parish. Today, they continue to ring out with purpose and pride, thanks to the dedication of our bellringers.
Meet Our Bellringers
We are blessed with a committed and cheerful band of bellringers who gather every Tuesday evening to practise and ring before the main Sunday service. Their skill and teamwork bring the tower to life, weaving tradition with rhythm and fellowship. The bells range from the nimble treble, weighing 4½ hundredweight, to the mighty tenor at over 16 hundredweight (0.8 tonne)—each one adding its voice to the harmony of worship.
We’re especially proud of our growing group of young ringers, who bring fresh energy and curiosity to this ancient art. Bellringing is a brilliant way for young people to build confidence, learn teamwork, and be part of something bigger.
New ringers of all ages are warmly welcomed, whether you’re 11 or 81, experienced or just intrigued. Bellringing is open to everyone, and we’d love to help you learn. It’s a joyful way to connect with the heartbeat of the church and the wider community.
Come and see what it’s all about, there’s always room in the tower for new hands.
