Church of England Diocese of Chester Woodchurch

2 Dec 2018, 11:15 a.m.

Following a period of advertisement during the month of October 2018, shortlisting on 3rd November 2018, and interviews on 26th November 2018, we are now pleased to announce that the Revd Christine Broad, currently serving as Associate Vicar of the Parish of Oxton, has been offered and has accepted the position of Rector of Woodchurch.  (Subject to the completion of legal formalities) Christine will join us as Rector in 2019.

Christine will come to us with over 12 years experience of ordained ministry having served as a Team Rector in Hanley, Stoke on Trent prior to moving to Oxton.  Prior to ordination, Christine was a teacher for many years.

As a former resident of this parish, Christine is very much looking forward to moving to Woodchurch with her husband Nick and working with you in the power of the Holy Spirit to grow the Kingdom of God in this place.

Christine has been to Woodchurch quite a few times covering services during the vacancy and she says she has always been made very welcome.
