Prayer and reflection each night in Holy Week.
Join us at 8pm each night in Holy Week for a short time of reflection as we journey to the cross.
We will be looking at 3 passages:
Monday John 12:27-36 - Jesus speaks about his death
Tuesday John 13:1-20 - Jesus washes his disciples' feet
Wednesday John 4:1-14 - Jesus the Way to the Father

We begin at 7pm with a simple meal of soup (v), bread and cheese followed by a worship service which includes communion as a reminder of the events of the night we call Maundy Thursday. If you'd rather not eat, that's OK, please still come and join the fellowship and worship.

A time to be still before the cross.
Silence, reflective prayers and some singing.

This year's walk starts at Hambledon church and ends at Godalming Minster Brighton Road for hot cross buns and drinks.
Meet at 2pm at Hambledon Church. The walk is about 5km, but you can also join half-way at the Hydon's Ball car park. Approx 2hours . Dogs welcome.

This is a favourite for families! A short service in church followed by an egg hunt in the wonderful Busbridge Old Rectory Garden.

Areas are designated for different age groups so that the younger ones have time to amble and collect at their pace, and the older ones are let loose to forage in the wilder areas.

There'll be tea and cake and other refreshments for all those spectating! (Donations of cake welcome but not compulsory.)

Parking is not available in the Old Rectory for this event. Please sign up for a ticket for each member of your party who will be attending.

A service of fire and light.
A beautiful candlelit choral service to mark the start of Easter, with the blessing of the new fire, the lighting of the Easter Candle and the renewal of baptismal vows. All are most warmly welcome to come and celebrate the risen Christ in this glorious building in the heart of Godalming.

The Church is in darkness as was Calvary when Christ died on the cross. As God in the Old Testament made His presence known by the sign of a pillar of fire, so fire now represents the return of Christ, the light of the world, from the darkness of the grave.

A short service organised by Churches Together in Godalming & District at The Minster Shrine off Tuesley Lane, beyond Minster Road, careful parking in surrounding roads.
With refreshments at Ladywell Convent after the service.

Happy Easter! Come and celebrate Easter Day with a beautiful choral service in this glorious building in the heart of Godalming. He is risen indeed - Alleluia! All are most warmly welcome to the service and to refreshments (fruit juice, Prosecco) afterwards.
