For parents and carers of babies and children (0-4’s).

Come along for a warm welcome, tea, coffee, biscuits, and a chat.

Free flow play for the children in the hall at St Marks Church (and the garden in the warmer months).
Craft, play dough, a fruit snack time, finishing with a singing session.
Free parking available on Franklyn Road.

An informal service of contemporary worship led by a worship group and making creative use of modern media. The Contemporary congregation celebrates Holy Communion on 3rd Sundays of the month.

The 1st Sunday of the month is Church in the Park for families all ages together congregation - please keep an eye on the notices for the location.

We're excited to announce that our Sunday night Youth Bible Study group has a fresh new name: Roots! This change reflects our vision of helping every young person in our church family grow deeply rooted in God's love, His Word, and a vibrant faith community. Roots isn't just a name — it's a calling to grow in depth and direction.

Drop in for a coffee or cup of tea on Mondays at the Yew Tree Café where a member of the Prime Time team will be looking forward to welcome you, and other members and friends will be there to chat. A lovely start to the week.

Working from home on Tuesday? or want some company .Why not come and have a bite to eat or work or chat or enjoy board games and quizzes every Tuesday 12.30 till 3pm.

The participants from each course will gather and share a meal together each week before splitting off for their session. What a great way to meet people at different stages of the most exciting journey!

Alpha has provided over 1.5 million people in the UK alone (29m worldwide) with an opportunity to explore different aspects of the Christian faith and to discuss their questions in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

Dinner and conversation is integral to the format of the Alpha course, to meet people and open up conversation.

The course begins with a 'no obligation' introductory session led by Lesley Mason, one of the Godalming Minster clergy team. During the evening there will be an opportunity to chat with those who have previously done Alpha.

Whether you're well versed in Scripture or just starting out on the journey, The Bible Course offers a superb overview of the world's best-selling book.

For January 2026 we'll be running the Bible Course alongside Alpha at Franklyn Road. The participants from each course will gather and share a meal together each week before splitting off for their session. What a great way to meet people at different stages of the most exciting journey!

The 8 session Bible Course is a brilliant way to bring the Bible to life and understand the whole storyline— from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way you will pick up tools and skills to help you read it yourself and apply it to your life.

Though The Bible Course was written for beginners in an extremely accessible in style, it will still challenge the experienced bible reader and help anyone rediscover the bible afresh.

At Godalming Minster we'd encourage everyone to do the course, from those who are following on from Alpha, to mature Christians wanting to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of the Bible.

If you are already in a small group, please join the course to spread your knowledge and enthusiasm for scripture with others, and refresh their own understanding.

Local Goldsmith Graham Harling will talk about his work, including his involvement in producing a replica of the Henry VIII crown which is now housed in Hampton Court Palace.  Graham’s presentation will be followed by the customary Prime Time Tea & Cake. 
There is no charge to attend this event, but donations on the day to help cover expenses are welcomed.
There will also be refreshments and a time to chat!

All are most warmly welcome to this Minster-wide service to celebrate Choral Evensong. Take time out of your busy week to enjoy this traditional and reflective service with glorious choral music in the splendour of a much-loved ancient building in the heart of Godalming. .
