Generations is our new intergenerational group set up with the intention of bringing together young and old. Usually meeting on the first Friday of each month, you need neither a baby nor an older person however if you’re one or the other you would be very welcome (though the babies do need to bring their grown up!).

Together everyone will enjoy a light lunch, meet friends, maybe make some new friends, but most importantly it’s an opportunity to bring together the generations. Not everyone has grandchildren near by, grandparents in the area or simply the opportunity to spend time with people of different ages.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Chertsey is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Ron Howell at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
