GIFT DAY/APPRECIATION AND APPEAL OF TIME & TALENTS 2025.( 30th November)St Mary's exists to be a beacon of light within the community we serve....seeking to share God's love for all as widely as possible. We always need to reach out in as many ways as we can, supporting those most vulnerable in our community. Each and every individual is valued and equal without exception. Our appeal this year is in two parts to help us sustain our Church's mission to the fullest in the coming months and beyond.Anyone in a position at this time able to respond in any small or larger way has our heartfelt thanks.During last Winter, once again our aged Boiler failed, with a cold church awaiting us one Sunday morning. We were fortunate then that our amazing estates team( All volunteers) were able to patch up some repairs. However, the boiler is now inefficient and uneconomical to run.We need to find a replacement that keeps those attending warm,is economical to run and supports our eco-church objectives.Recently, a neighbouring Church installed infra red heating and this is a proposition that now needs to be carefully evaluated and seems to perfectly fit a more economical and eco-church project solution. All donations for our gift day on 30th November will be designated for such a project to come to fruition. The second part of our appeal is for time and talents and volunteer opportunities within the running of the Church. There are a great many ways to help, big and small to suit your time and your natural gifts or wishes. We are already of course very grateful and indebted to the many who already give generously of their time and talents. There will be displays of opportunities within the Cuddington( ground floor) hall after the 9.30am service on 30th November. If you have any questions, enquiries at any time, please don't hesitate to contact us( [email protected]),drop us a private message here or pop in and speak to someone who will be more than happy to provide any further information you may need.Thank you!
