TODDLER GROUP

Occuring
Every Friday at for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
Cuddington: St Mary the Virgin
Address
The Avenue Cuddington, KT4 7HL, United Kingdom

St. Mary's Toddler group runs every Friday morning during term time from 10 am until 11.30 am in the Cuddington Hall. Sessions are semi-structured, with an opportunity for children to play with toys, do a craft activity or play with one another for the first hour. This is followed by refreshments at 11 am. At 11.15 the children and grown ups gather to hear a story and sing some nursery rhymes.

Toddler Group is for pre-school aged children, including babies. A parent or carer must attend with the child(ren) and remains responsible throughout, though there are always plenty of volunteers to chat to and offer support. Everyone is welcome. There is a £3 charge per family to cover the cost of materials and refreshments, but please email Daphne if this presents any difficulty.

There is no need to book, just turn up. If you would like more information, please contact Daphne Richardson on 020 8393 3648.

Our Vicar, Theresa, has faithfully guided and inspired us here at St Mary's for over six years. On Sunday 4th February, our 9.30am service of Holy Communion will be her last with us. With much love, gratitude, and of course some normal human feelings of sadness in our hearts,we say goodbye as God calls her to pastures new in her role as Chaplain to the Bishop of Winchester. We know and pray that she will continue to inspire others with her passion and deep understanding of sharing God's inclusion and love for all..whatever background.
Church is a place of sanctuary, stability and inclusion of all God's people in an ever changing World. During the lockdowns, she worked tirelessly to ensure the mission of the Church and God's light never faded and the fact that we are never ever alone... A light we must continually shine and share in our communities.
We offer our heartfelt prayers, love and thanks to Theresa in her exciting new challenges ahead.

Holy Communion and Children's Sunday Club, 5th Sunday in Lent.

Occuring
Sunday 17 March 2024 at for 1 hour
Venue
Cuddington: St Mary the Virgin
Address
The Avenue Cuddington, KT4 7HL, United Kingdom

This Sunday 17th March is the 5th Sunday in Lent. Everyone is very warmly invited to join us at our 9.30am service of Holy Communion.
Please do join us for refreshments after the service in the adjoining ground floor hall.
This Sunday also coincides with our 'Sunday Club', a club for young children usually run on the first and third Sundays of the month. Our volunteers plan fun activities for the children where they can learn about and develop their faith. Towards the end of the service, they are usually very keen to tell us as a congregation what they have been doing..It is always a joy to listen to them if they wish to say something. It is completely up to the children and their parents/guardians if they wish to join in with the Sunday club as we also have a 'Children's corner' where young ones can be kept amused with colouring, stickers, crafts etc. We know and understand( and it's perfectly natural!) that young ones can get restless..so please be assured that for whatever reason and whenever it is there to use.
Our hymns at this service will be as follows:
Lead us heavenly Father, lead us.
Breathe on me, breath of God
Glory be to Jesus
It is a thing most wonderful
Christ Triumphant, ever reigning.
