The refurbishment of the external stonework on St Jude's has been completed, at a cost of £16000. Thank you for your patience whilst the work was under way.We now have permission to progress with the painting and gilding of the clock face. This will cost in the region of £10000. We were able (thanks to Dr Guy Bunce) to provide online Sunday worship from the very start of lockdown, on 20 March 2020. When we could not meet in person, we provided recorded material each week, and when we returned to the church building, we live-streamed each 9.30am service, plus some others. Thanks to an appeal in 2021-2, we now have our own AV equipment which can also be used for weddings and funerals. Our YouTube channel is at https://www.youtube.com/@stjudesunitedchurchenglefi5101 and contains more than 200 items. From a slow start we now have about 90 regular viewers for each Sunday service: locals who are unable to get to church to friends in (for example) the US, Australia and Singapore.
