“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
St Alban’s has been built up on families and people of faith. To help us grow more in Christian love and fellowship, children (up to the age of 11) and their parents are invited to St Alban’s first Messy Church session on Saturday 16th March from 3pm to 4:30pm.This will take place at the Church.
Messy Church is an informal act of worship for young children and their families. It is aimed at helping children, parents and the wider Church Family grow in faith, hope and love. Parents can attend with children for a themed afternoon of worship through craft, play, drama and storytelling. There will be plenty of opportunities for children and families to explore the transforming love of God and meet new friends.
The worship ends with fellowship time over tea and cake. If anyone can bake cakes or prepare light finger food for these sessions and /or come along to help serve them, it would be much appreciated. Please contact the Chaplain or Peter Prasadam if you are able to help.
