Our Voyage Together: Faith, Fellowship, and Finances at St. Catherine’s

Last March, in our first Chaplaincy Workshop, we reflected on the mission of the Church of England, explored our Anglican identity and churchmanship, and listened to one another about the life and ministry of St. Catherine’s. It was a time of deepening our sense of who we are as a chaplaincy.

This time, we invite you to come on board once again as we take the next step: looking at our voyage together as a community of faith. Using the image of a boat, we will reflect on the three essentials that keep us sailing toward God’s Kingdom — Faith, Fellowship, and Finances.

We will pray, listen, share in small groups, and vision together. Our survey from the third quarter of this year — very fresh in its insights — will guide us, giving voice to our community’s strengths and challenges. Together we will ask:
• How does faith give us courage for the journey?
• How does fellowship keep us rowing side by side?
• How do finances fuel our voyage so we can reach our destination?

When: Saturday, 20 September 2025 at 2:00 PM at the side room (Ökumenischer Saal)

Closing: Communion Service at 5:00 PM (in anticipation of Sunday, 21 September, when there will be no church service)

Come and join us as we keep the MV St. Catherine’s sailing strong toward the horizon of peace, joy, and life in God’s future.

Sailing with you,

The Chaplain
