Remembrance Sunday - We Remember

2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the World War II and commemorates 80 years of freedom.  On Remembrance Sunday 9 November Haarlem Church will have a special choral Remembrance Service to celebrate 80 years of freedom, but also to remember all the sacrifices that have been made - and are still being made - by so many so that we are able to live in freedom.

Before the service, poppies are available for a donation to the Royal British Legion.

The music will include special anthems and hymns fitting for Remembrance.

The choir will be singing at the Oosterbeek War Cemetery Remembrance Service in the morning and will then travel back to Haarlem to sing at our own Remembrance Service. The Haarlem Service will therefore be at the later time of 4 pm.

The service will be followed by a reception in the Church Room downstairs.
