This weekend, 6th-8th June, it's the Bradninch Music Festival. There will be a wide variety of music on offer from disco to jazz to classical and more. St Disen's will be playing its part too. There are two concerts in the church on Saturday: a classical concert featuring local musicians at 12.30pm and a solo piano recital by Alex Wilson of The Planets at 6.00pm. Then at 7.45pm, it's time for Beer and Hymns at The Castle, an opportunity to raise the roof in this pub sing-along to some of our finest hymns. On Sunday morning we'll be up at the cricket pitch for Festival Praise at 10.30am, followed by refreshments at the 'Tea of Galilee'. The church will be open on Sunday too as a quiet space for prayer and reflection.
