This year we opted for a September harvest celebration, particularly fitting as most of the harvesting was early. The church was filled with fruit and flowers, particularly in preparation for a Baptism on the Sunday. The village Primary School brought their gifts and shared in songs, prayers and readings, followed by apple cake and apple juice in the Green Marquee. Our evening supper was provided by our local volunteers and we were particularly pleased to welcome our young bell ringers who also helped with the evening's proceedings.

Sunday we had a full church, being blessed with a Baptism, making a double celebration, with refreshments before the service.

We look forward to our uplifting Songs of Praise on October 18th and our moving Remembrance Day service on November 8th.
