in all this strangeness this week we have some good news. Even as I was lamenting no news in my last email the government announced our churches could re-open for private prayer. Hallelujah! My friends this is such good news, these buildings have stood as quiet places of sanctuary for hundreds of years and even if we cannot hold our regular services the reopening of them is such a blessing. From tomorrow, (15th June) three of our churches will be open (those in Whimple, Talaton and Clyst Hydon). We would ask that if you use them you use the hand sanitisers provided on entry and exit, you only use the area of the churches marked out (to reduce cleaning) and respect the social distancing rules if others are using them.
