Five rose bushes have been planted on the site of a removed conifer. The conifer was removed after parts of it had died and the remarkable volunteer team who removed the tree replaced the area with a gravel covered bed. It is hoped that the local deer with find other more edible plants offer the roses a chance to blossom.
