Dear EFP folk,This prolonged dry spell is an extremely difficult time for our farmers as well as for our gardens. Walking the lanes this week, the parched fields where sheep or cows would usually be grazing were grievous to see, the animals clustered in the heat around the food and water troughs. Even the hedgerows are showing signs of dehydration stress. May our farmers make it through this period OK, along with their livestock and crops. On a brighter note, things coming up to look forward to -Payhembury Patronal Festival - Tomorrow Sun 16th August
