Families enjoyed a mini-beast safari, made solitary bee logs, and helped build a bug hotel on our eco field. There was much excitement as we discovered a variety of creatures, including a Brush-footed butterfly 🦋, a Round-shouldered Orb-weaver spider 🕷️, a ladybird 🐞, and other fascinating insects and arthropods.

As we searched and explored together, we reflected on how God’s creativity is revealed not only in grand landscapes and towering trees, but also in the tiniest creatures that often go unnoticed. Each insect, spider, and butterfly has its own place and purpose within creation, reminding us that all life is precious in God’s sight.

During this Season of Creation, we are invited to notice these small wonders, to give thanks for the rich diversity of life around us, and to consider our responsibility to care for the earth and all its inhabitants. The intricate web of creation reminds us that we are deeply connected—to one another, to the natural world, and to the Creator who lovingly made it all.  🌍💚

We finished our afternoon with caterpillar cakes 🐛 and beetle sweets 🪲, celebrating the joy of discovery and the gift of sharing time together outdoors in God’s creation.🐛🪲🦋🕷️🐜🦗🦟🪰🪳🐝
