Burundi Sunday - 8.45am & 10.30am

Occurring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St Mark’s Church
Address
De Vere Gardens Woodthorpe Nottingham, NG5 4PH, United Kingdom

This year, our speaker will be Rev. Steve Muneza. Steve is from Burundi but is now a lecturer in Theology at Cranmer Hall, Durham but Steve still visits Burundi regularly, so will be able to update us on the situation there.

We will be having a Bring & Share lunch after our morning services on Burundi Sunday. This is to celebrate the day and also give an opportunity to spend more time with our visiting speaker.

This year's appeal will be to help with a Clergy conference where there will be training for peace and reconciliation on the country

St Mark’s Church

St Mark’s is a church seeking to see hearts on fire for God and hope come alive in North Nottingham.

We gather on Sundays to worship, hear from the Bible and encounter God together — and we meet during the week to pray, grow and serve.

Whether you’re curious about faith or looking for a church to call home, you’re very welcome at any of our services and events.

Safeguarding

St Mark's is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information, including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
