Julian Prayer Meeting

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Mark’s Church
Address
De Vere Gardens Woodthorpe Nottingham, NG5 4PH, United Kingdom

Julian Prayer is a quiet, contemplative prayer gathering, rooted in the spirituality of Julian of Norwich — a 14th century English mystic who spoke deeply of God’s unconditional love and goodness.

Unlike our other prayer meetings, this is 30 minutes of shared silence, creating space simply to be with God, rest in his presence, and listen.

Refreshments will be available afterwards.

St Mark’s Church

St Mark’s is a church seeking to see hearts on fire for God and hope come alive in North Nottingham.

We gather on Sundays to worship, hear from the Bible and encounter God together — and we meet during the week to pray, grow and serve.

Whether you’re curious about faith or looking for a church to call home, you’re very welcome at any of our services and events.

Safeguarding

St Mark's is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information, including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
