Journeys take us somewhere, maybe to school, work, home or even on holiday. Journeys are often frantic and fast paced fuelled by the desire to get somewhere… quickly! Life is full of journeys where the destination is the point. A pilgrimage is different because the journey is the point.
A pilgrimage isn’t fast paced. It is fuelled by prayer and reflection and takes us to a place of greater understanding of ourselves, how we connect with people, places and with God.

Purse Caundle: St Peter

Welcome to the church of St Peter in Purse Caundle.  Our main act of worship happens on the first Sunday of the month when we have a Holy Communion service at 11am - you would be most welcome to join us. There are other services happening during the month in the benefice and details of these can be found on the News and Notices page and on our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/spire.hill.benefice.

If you would like details of our services please contact the churchwarden, Charlotte de Pelet on 07974 802175 or at [email protected]

Our parish of Purse Caundle: St Peter is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO : Kate Cox Tel. 07718 986819

Alternatively, you can contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Team: [email protected] or 01722 43865

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
