Pilgrimage of Peace for Palm Sunday

Occurring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St Nicholas Church , Abbotsbury
Address
St Nicholas Church , Abbotsbury, Church Street Abbotsbury Weymouth, DT3 4JJ, United Kingdom

Start at St Nicholas', Abbotsbury and walk to St Catherine's Chapel and back, a circular route of about 2 miles.
On this Pilgrimage of Peace, we’ll have some readings and songs about peace, but we’ll also engage in ‘mindfulness’. We’ll be able to reflect on what we might let go of and what we could change in our lives to know more peace. It will be an opportunity to live in the moment of each step, in communion with the beauty of creation.
There are some hilly bits and some of this walk will be on paths through fields, so wear appropriate clothing and footwear! (Baby carriers/toddler packs rather than pushchairs for this route..) Dogs on leads are welcome.
Everyone is welcome!

St Bartholomew, Corton

The parish of Portesham: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
