St Edmund's Church, situated in the district of Weymouth known as Lanehouse, was built in the 1950s and is home to a lively community of Christian worshippers. The church is attached to St Edmund's Church Hall, a popular venue for community events, and is paired with the other church in the parish: All Saints, Wyke Regis. The two churches often coordinate services and events.
