Throughout the week, we’ll be highlighting the work of local groups, charities, and community projects that help our neighbourhood flourish. From creative initiatives and social action to quiet acts of care and friendship, you’ll find stories that inspire and ways to get involved.

This is a celebration for everyone individuals, families, and friends of all ages. Whether you’re already active in community life or just curious to learn more, you’re warmly invited to explore, connect, and catch the community spirit!

Let’s celebrate what’s growing among us, and discover together how we can continue to sow seeds of kindness, hope, and joy.

Morning Prayer is a simple, spoken service held in church each weekday morning. It offers a quiet space to pause, reflect, and begin the day in prayer and scripture. Everyone is welcome, whether you come often or just need a moment of peace.

Join us for Little Saints, our friendly parish group for parents, carers, and little ones! We meet every Thursday from 1pm to 3pm at St Edmund’s Church, offering play, crafts, stories, and refreshments in a warm, welcoming space.

A quiet, spoken service of Holy Communion held weekly in church, offering space for prayer, scripture, and reflection. All are welcome, and there’s tea and coffee afterwards for those who’d like to stay and chat.

Our weekly worship at St Edmund’s is a time to gather in prayer, reflection, and community. Most weeks we celebrate Holy Communion, with occasional Services of the Word offering worship through readings, hymns, and reflection. All are welcome. Rooted in the Celtic tradition, our Iona services offer a gentle, reflective space for prayer and connection. Held regularly in church, they alternate between evening prayer, healing services, and Communion, each shaped by inclusive liturgy, quiet music, and a deep sense of peace. All are welcome to come as they are and share in this rhythm of worship.

A group which meets weekly to walk around Weymouth, enjoy our outdoor spaces and keep in shape. We begin our walks from Bincleaves Green; please do come along and join us!

There’s always something to browse at the book stall, and plenty of friendly conversation. Whether you’re a regular or just passing by, all are welcome.

A regular gathering of volunteers eager to spruce up our church green spaces. If you'd like to get your hands dirty, then please come along! We suggest that you bring gardening gloves, a strong bag, and a pair of shears or secateurs if you have one

Our Open Table service is a safe, sacred space for LGBTQ+ people and allies to explore faith together. Rooted in hospitality and inclusion, it offers gentle liturgy, music, and reflection in a relaxed setting where everyone is welcome, just as they are.
