Fruits of the Spirit Quite Day

Occurring
for 5 hours
Venue
All Saints Church, Wyke Regis
Address
Portland Road Wyke Regis Weymouth, DT4 9ES, United Kingdom

A day to pause. To breathe. To listen.

Join us as we explore the Fruit of the Spirit, those gentle gifts that shape how we live and love: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Throughout the day, there’ll be:

Music and moments of worship
A creative arts table for prayerful reflection
Books and resources to inspire
Space for thoughtful discussion and sharing
Prayer activities and a short closing service

You’re welcome to use the space however you need, whether that’s joining in, sitting quietly, or simply being.

Bring & Share Lunch, We will pause during the day for a shared lunch, theres no pressure, just something simple if you’d like to contribute.

Quiet days have a way of deepening the soul offering space to reconnect with God, with yourself, and with the gentle rhythm of grace.

If you’ve never been to one before, feel free to pop in and see what it’s like. But if you can stay for the whole day, you may find it unfolds into something quietly transformative.

If you’re planning to attend, it would help us with organising if you could let us know.

St Edmund's Church, Lanehouse

Welcome to St Edmund's Church, Lane House

Nestled in the heart of Lanehouse, Weymouth, St Edmund’s is more than a church; it’s a vibrant, welcoming hub where faith, friendship, and community flourish. Built in the 1950s and paired with our sister church, All Saints in Wyke Regis, we share a deep commitment to inclusive worship and joyful connection.

Whether you're exploring the Christian faith or looking for a place to belong, you’ll find a warm welcome here. Our services are open to all, and our church hall, buzzing with activity, is a beloved venue for local groups, celebrations, and community events. From coffee mornings to craft fairs, it’s where neighbours become friends.

Outside, our beautiful wraparound gardens offer space to breathe, reflect, and play. We’re proud to be taking steps on our Eco Church journey, with solar panels now installed and a growing vision for sustainability rooted in faith.

Families are especially cherished at St Edmund’s. Our Parent & Toddler group brings little ones and their grown-ups together for play, support, and laughter, just one of the many ways we nurture belonging across generations.

Come and see what makes St Edmund’s so special. You’re always welcome.
