Easter in the Stour Vale Benefice

Here's a round-up of Easter from Hephzibah - photos below

Easter Escape Room 25

I (Hephzibah) had an amazing time at the Easter Escape Room. We had to complete challenges which gave us clues on how to get into a locked box, and then which item from the box to give to the doorkeeper, so we could escape (and win a prize). Some of the challenges were quite hard, so sometimes I did the options for younger children. There were plenty of things to choose from, so everyone could have a go at something!

The Pedal Goes were the most fun. People said I was cheating, because I could pedal with my front feet and keep my back feet on the ground, but I call it just using my unique talents! #adventuresofhephzibah

Palm Sunday 2025

I (Hephzibah) really enjoyed the Palm Sunday service at Kington Magna. The Shetland pony was very well behaved, despite us waving palm fronds and palm crosses in her face; Chris and Lucas did an amazing job, acting out the dramatized reading of the story of Holy Week and the younger children had lots of fun colouring and sticking! #adventuresofhephzibah

Easter Sunday 2025

HAPPY EASTER! I (Hephzibah) had an amazing time at the service at East Stour on Easter Sunday. The church was packed with people celebrating Jesus’ resurrection and the huge difference that makes to our lives. We sang some rousing hymns, including a new one Clare taught us, and some of the children helped Clare tell the Easter story by opening eggs that contained reminders of what had happened. It was great fun! There were lots of crafts, colouring, puzzles and stickers for children (of any age!) who got a bit bored, and no-one minded if they were a bit noisy, or ran around the church. It was all part of the celebrations! #adventuresofhephzibah
