Farnham Church welcomes everyone through its door and is normally unlocked from 9am to 5pm (a yank on the door handle to the left will unlatch the door).  Visitors often regard this small church as a welcome sanctuary because of its simplicity, be it a place to pray or reflect, to consider its various styles of architecture or to investigate family history.

St Laurence Church, Farnham is part of the Upper Chase Benefice, Dorset and services are held according to the Benefice rota of services.

Safeguarding

Farnham: St Laurence is part of the Upper Chase Benefice. The Upper Chase Benefice is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and Gill Baverstock is our Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) for Chettle, Farnham and Tollard Royal.

Our Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO on 07974 506880 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. Full contact details can be found in the flowchart: click on the left on 'What to do if you have Safeguarding Concerns'. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
