The Benefice of Long Barrow is a new Benefice from May 2025. It consists of 6 parishes, Durweston and Bryanston, Pimperne, Stourpaine, Tarrant Gunville, Tarrant Hinton and Tarrant Monkton with Tarrant Launceston. Each Parish is very different, except they are all very welcoming.

Welcome to St Peter's, the village church of Pimperne. There has been a church here since the Norman times and possibly even earlier. The current building was rebuilt in the late 19th Century incorporating some of the Norman stone work from the previous building. It has a lively and very welcoming congregation and excellent links with the local Primary School. With colleagues from around the Long Barrow benefice it assists the school with Assemblies, "Open the Book" Bible Drama, and Pastoral Support.
Welcome to Holy Trinity, Stourpaine. The church is very beautiful and more importantly has a very warm welcoming congregation.
St Mary's Church, Tarrant Gunville welcomes everyone through its doors. Visitors are welcome to look around or take advantage of the silence to sit and pray or contemplate.

The Parish of St Mary's, Tarrant Hinton while still legally part of the Chase Benefice, Dorset is now working with the parishes of Tarrant Gunville, Tarrant Monkton, Pimperne, Durweston and Stourpaine.
You are very welcome to attend any services in the parishes mentioned above. After 4 July 2024 the services at Tarrant Hinton will be:
1st Sunday of the month at approx 0915 Breakfast together where we alternate hosting with Tarrant Gunville in our village Halls.
2nd Sunday of the month - our 30 minute Service "Hinton Half Hour" 1030 - we meet for coffee at 1015 in Church
3rd Sunday of the month - no service at Tarrant Hinton.
4th Sunday of the Month at 11.00 am our Parish Communion Service in Church
