Get ready for the most wonderful—and definitely the loudest—hour of our year! Our Family Christingle & Crib Service is back, and we are expecting a joyful crowd of 500 people to help us raise the roof.

Forget "hush-hush" and "sit still"—this is a high-energy celebration of the Christmas story. Here is what you can expect:

A Joyful Noise: With 500 voices singing, shouting, and celebrating, it’s less of a 'silent night' and more of a 'party night!'

The Christingle Glow: We’ll be handing out oranges, ribbons, and sweets as we light up the room.

The Big Story: Help us build our Nativity scene as we welcome the baby Jesus to the crib.

Beautiful Mayhem: It’s busy, it’s bustling, and it’s the perfect way for families to burn off some pre-Christmas excitement.

Dress code: Come dressed as a favourite nativity character!

Note: Because it gets very busy, we recommend arriving early to snag a spot in the thick of the action!

Safeguarding

Our parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Jen Bartlett at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Team: [email protected] or 01722 438651. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
