After a year of ministry in the Studland and Swanage team, our curate moves on to the next phase by being priested at a joyful service in Salisbury Cathedral. Bishop Stephen presided along with Bishop Karen and Bishop Andrew.

The Church of England ordains new ministers in two steps, first to the role of Deacon and then after a year of work and study and practical experience to the role of priest. Natalie has already brought so much to our ministry here in Studland, pioneering a revised Morning Prayer service and taking part in many others. Now she will be able to explore her sacramental ministry by presiding at the Eucharist, pronouncing absolution and blessing.

We are looking forward to welcoming her back at Studland as she helps out with our Pet Service on August 31st!
