Celebrating Harvest in Studland makes such sense for a parish surrounded by countryside and farms. But this year we stretched our imaginations a little further and thought of other harvests, especially the harvest of the sea...and indeed ourselves as God's own harvest. The church was beautifully decorated with flowers and produce....many many thanks to our exceptional flower arrangers. During the service we brought our own gifts to the altar for blessing and then, after the service, distribution to the local food bank. Afterwards thirty of us headed for the Manor Farm tea-rooms for an excellent ploughman's lunch. This was such a great event to catch up with one another and to celebrate the centrality of harvest to our lives. Next year, why not join us?
