The Prayer Course

Through six weekly sessions, we will use the Lord’s Prayer to help us understand more about prayer and to engage more deeply with prayer in our daily lives.

Each session will last about 60 minutes, during which we will: watch a video; talk about what we’ve seen and heard; try some practical activities.

At the end of each session you are welcome to stay on with us in St Nicholas for a simple soup and bread lunch.

The course starts on February 19th at 11:30 in Studland Church Hall

It will also be running in other local churches, so if you can’t make a session or two, you can catch up again at another venue.

Studland: St Nicholas

Welcome to St Nicholas Church, a Norman gem set in beautiful countryside beside the sea. St Nicholas is an inclusive church that welcomes children. The church is open during daylight hours.

We usually meet for worship at 10:00 am on Sunday. You can find further details by clicking here  and checking the "Calendar" tab. Our services include, Family Communion, Holy Communion, and Morning prayer. A choir sings at most of our services.

The church has many informal links with our community along with regular engagements such as the Community Coffee Morning and Men's Breakfast.

Do have a look around this site to see what we are doing and of course, do come and join us for worship or even just to look around our lovely building.
