We are pleased to tell you that we've decided to allow the grass to grow a bit longer than usual in the part of St Andrew's churchyard that has the older graves. 

Having grass of varying lengths isn't what we are used to, but it is good for encouraging biodiversity. Different insects flourish in longer grass than in shorter grass. We want to do our bit to encourage wildlife with this first step towards becoming an EcoChurch.

We realise that change can be uncomfortable. Please let us know how you feel about this.
