Walk with the cross

A walk from St James' Church, pausing to read the Bible and pray, and finishing at the cross on Cherhill Down. This year we will be carrying the cross up, so strong arms would be much appreciated.

Easter vigil and sunrise service

Gather around the fire to retell the stories of God’s love for his creation, concluding with a short celebration of Easter as the sun rises. Bring a chair and a blanket. A simple breakfast will follow.

Join us at 5.30 for a pre-service drink and chat, or at 6pm for the service itself.

We usually meet on the second Sunday of the month, except August and December.

Little Fishes is a fun playgroup for babies and toddlers up to 5 years old, accompanied by parents, grandparents and carers. The group has been running for over 10 years and offers everyone the chance to meet new local people.

Each week begins with free play, followed by a story, a craft and snack time, finishing with music and singing.

We don't always stay in the hall, occasionally we organise an outing, whether it's a walk and picnic in the woods, a trip to the park or an Easter egg hunt! If the weather is good, we try to extend the play area outside which all the children enjoy.

Tea and coffee is provided for all adults and water or squash for the children, with fruit and biscuits at snack time.

We ask for £2 per child each week to cover the cost of the hall hire and snack. If you are new to us, please come along for a free taster session. We would love to meet you.
