Lent Course

This year the Lent Course will be held on Tuesdays at 2.30pm in the Methodist Church starting on Tuesday 24th February - we will be following the USPG devised 6 session study course “We Believe “ .

All are welcome - come along to any or all of those Tuesdays and join in the discussion.

2025 marked 1700 years since the ground breaking Council of Nicaea, a turning point in Christian history. This course invites you to explore the Nicene Creed, a statement of belief which has united Christians worldwide for centuries. Contributors from the Philippines to the Middle East track key elements of the creed including the nature of Jesus, His resurrection and the power of the Holy Spirit. The questions and prayers encourage meaningful discussions around unity, diversity, and how we can live out Christ’s message of love and justice today.
