The God who loves us so much calls us to love those around us in his name. Scripture fleshes that out and explains that means sharing lives, weeping with those who weep – rejoicing with those who rejoice, spurring one another on to love and good works and speaking the truth in love with one another in all circumstances of life. But how do we do that in practice? In our regional conferences this year we will be exploring the call and the practical steps that can be taken to grow churches that offer Christ-like care.FRIDAY 19TH, 1pm to 4pm: AN AFTERNOON FOR CHURCH LEADERSOn the Friday afternoon we will be running an event for church leaders looking at how to set a vision, build a structure and ensure congregation members are inspired and equipped for works on service in ways that promote gospel care. Beginning with an optional light lunch at 1pm, and continuing with an interactive seminar from 2-4pm, this afternoon is suitable for pastors, elders, staff members and those in strategic voluntary roles within the local church (men and women).SATURDAY 20TH: 10am to 3.30pm: A DAY CONFERENCE FOR ALLOn the Saturday, we will be starting with coffee at 9.30am and then, from 10am-3.30pm, we'll be looking at how we can all play our part in growing churches that care well. Through our prayers, our love, our listening and our words – rooted in Scripture – we all have a role to play in the one-anothering of the local church. These events are suitable for anyone in the congregation who wants to grow in their care of others. You can book this event on the Biblical Counselling website here https://bcuk.org/event/growing-and-building-a-culture-of-care-trowbridge/
