About Us
We are a large Church in a rural area, with foundations back to Saxon times. The Church, built around 1110 was restored in the Victorian era. There are numerous historic monuments, crusaders tombs and the Sir John Seymour Tomb (Henry VIII's father in law). We also have a Grade II Walker organ and six bells, one of the heaviest rings in the county.
The Church hold several Community events and can hold up to 450 persons for big occasions.
We have a facebook page St Mary's Great Bedwyn, which you can look at to keep up to date with what's happening.
We are a small but growing congregation and always welcome newcomers!
