Well Hill Mission Church
Well Hill Mission Church has a thriving congregation from the local community. There are usually two morning services a month - Morning Worship on the 2nd Sunday and Holy Communion on the 4th Sunday. Other special services are held from time to time, including a popular evening Carol Service just before Christmas.
We welcome all visitors and enjoy a time of friendly chat over coffee and home-made cake after each service.
The church was built in 1893 on land donated by the Hart-Dyke family of Lullingstone Castle. Originally part of the Parish of Shoreham, it was one of three Mission Chapels to be built to accommodate the growing number of seasonal hop and fruit pickers. It is located about a mile east of Chelsfield Village and is reached at the end of a single-lane track leading off Well Hill Road.
Well Hill Mission Church is part of the Anglican Parish of Chelsfield which is part of the Benefice of Chelsfield with Green Street Green and Pratts Bottom.
