About Us

In 2025 the Congregation of All Saints Foots Cray achieved the A Rocha Eco Church Bronze Award. We are now working towards Silver and becoming a carbon-neutral church.

Once in the Kentish countryside and now on the very edge of Greater London, All Saints Foots Cray is an ancient Grade II* listed church caught between two worlds: the beautiful meadows on one side and one of the most deprived parishes in the country on the other. Our small, committed congregation aims to use our unique location to bring these two worlds together. Our focus is to provide a warm welcome and support for everyone, whether they visit us just once, driven by an inner need or curiosity, or are a regular worshipper who ‘knows the ropes.’

For the past few years we have taken part in the nationwide God’s Acre ‘Love Your Burial Ground Week.’ Every summer we maintain a large part of our churchyard as a beautiful wildflower meadow and work with local nature groups, youth organisations and schools to provide opportunities to spot and identify wildlife around the church.

These are just a few of the things we do. If you are looking for some moments of peace and reflection in beautiful surroundings, All Saints could be the church for you (although we can be noisy on occasion!) We have been told we ‘punch above our weight).

Everyone is welcome here.
