Sidcup: St John The Evangelist

We are a friendly and inclusive congregation standing within the liberal catholic tradition of the Church of England based in Sidcup town centre, in the London Borough of Bexley.

St John’s Church has stood for more than 170 years, serving the people of Sidcup and the surrounding area.

We warmly welcome people of all ages and would love to see you at any of our Sunday services or social events. We have various weekly services as well as many other events taking place in the Church, Church Hall and Parish Room.

The parish of Sidcup: St John the Evangelist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
