St Mary's, West Malling

We are St Mary's, the parish church for West Malling in the Malling area of Kent as part of the Diocese of Rochester. We believe Jesus' message is vital for the world in which we live and we seek to present that message in a way that mixes both time-honoured elements of our tradition with ways that are appropriate to our community of the 21st century.

We meet together to worship God, to hear and respond to His word, to support each other in the Christian life and to reach out to others.

Our normal pattern of Sunday worship is:

  • 8am - Traditional language Holy Communion, (said), lasting about 30 minutes
  • 10 am - either Modern language Holy Communion with the choir (1 hr), 1st, 3rd & Sundays of the month, or All Age Worship, (not Communion) with the music group, 2nd Sunday of the month.
  • On 5th Sundays we worship together in one of the churches of the benefice - see the benefice website for details. There is no 8 am service on that day.

We hope you find what answers to your initial queries here on this website, and we look forward to meeting you in person soon.
