On 16 June the artist Jeremy Thomas will be bringing his collection of paintings called The Human One to St Mary’s West Malling. This marks the start of a three-week Faith and Arts Festival for our Team. Parishes will be invited to take part in this in their own unique way, celebrating exploring faith through creativity. This may take the form of focus during a Sunday worship, a one-off event or a project that engages the wider community.
There will be a meeting in Leybourne church on Saturday 24th of February at 2pm to share different ideas and to see some of the paintings for inspiration. Anyone who wishes to come is very welcome and we are hoping to have representatives from each parish. There will be cake! If you can attend, please let Janet know at [email protected]

St Mary's, West Malling

We are St Mary's, the parish church for West Malling in the Malling area of Kent as part of the Diocese of Rochester. We believe Jesus' message is vital for the world in which we live and we seek to present that message in a way that mixes both time-honoured elements of our tradition with ways that are appropriate to our community of the 21st century.
