St Nicholas Dinnington

The parish of Hinton St George with Dinnington is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.  If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO.  If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

All Souls Service - A Time to Remember

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
Address

We warmly invite everyone who has been bereaved to come and remember their loved ones at our All Souls Service.

It’s a quiet, gentle hour to light a candle, reflect and be among others who understand. The names of our departed loved ones will be taken to the altar for prayers during the service, so if there is someone you would like remembered, we would be glad to include them.

You don’t need to be a regular churchgoer, and there is no need to book. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are welcome to come, to sit quietly or simply to listen. Refreshments will be served afterwards, with a chance for a cup of tea and a chat if you’d like one.

When: Sunday 1st November, 4pm
Where: All Saints Church, Merriott
Refreshments: Served after the service
